AMMAN — Touristic activity in Wadi Rum has had a positive effect on the economic activity of other sectors, including for the owners of camels and all-wheel drive vehicles, Al-Ghad reported.اضافة اعلان

The unique tourism experience in Aqaba has prompted many authorities to promote and support it, especially the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority.

Wadi Rum and Al-Disah camps are now considered tourist attractions and one of the most important factors in attracting tourists, due to its unique desert tourism experience, especially after the announcement of Aqaba as a coronavirus “green zone”.

Mohammad Al-Zawaideh, a camp owner, said that the camps have become a valuable addition to the tourism sector during the pandemic, and is considered a mean of entertainment for locals, which has contributed to tourists extending their stay in the region.

Zawaideh added that Wadi Rum is an international destination in which tourists enjoy the serenity, silence, and tranquility of the desert atmosphere.
