Folkloric evening held in Dhana

AMMAN — Tafileh Governorate’s Directorate of Culture of Tafila Governorate has organized a folklore evening in the village of Dhana, in southern Tafileh, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

The evening included poems by poet Ayman Al-Rawashdeh about Jerusalem, a folkloric performance by the Jibal Al-Tafileh band, and a performance on the traditional Rababa instrument by the poet Abdullah Al-Awadin.

The director of the Tafila Culture Directorate, Salem Al-Faqir, said that the event came within the directorate's plan for the current year, and to celebrate the centenary Jordan, stressing that the directorate is keen on preserving the cultural heritage of Tafileh for the next generation.
