The Ajloun Cable Car has welcomed 340,000 visitors since the beginning of this year.
Director of the Ajloun Development Area, Engineer Tareq Al-Ma’aytah, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Wednesday that the cable car has seen active tourist movement from both local and international visitors, noting that there is a future plan to implement projects that will further enhance tourism development in the governorate.

He added that the area is ready to maintain continuous cooperation with the local community by organizing exhibitions that provide opportunities to market their products, pointing out that four such exhibitions have been held so far this year.
Al-Ma’aytah also commended the important role played by the media in highlighting the achievements of the development area and the cable car, as well as the ongoing services provided to visitors.
