“Guests at the Pink Afternoon Tea enjoyed an array of sweet and savory treats, all deliciously crafted in line with the ‘pink’ theme of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, while a superb saxophonist provided musical entertainment for the afternoon,” the statement said.

It said guests also welcomed a speaker from the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC), who highlighted the importance of screenings and early detection in the fight against breast cancer.

During the event, “local jewelry designer Hania Al Bitar unveiled her latest jewelry collection, made exclusively to support the cause”, the statement said.

Guests were invited to make purchases from the collection, with 20 percent of the proceeds going to the KHCC.

The Ritz-Carlton, Amman also extended its support, selling its signature chocolates and its delicious, world-class coffee beans—roasted on-site at Soleil. A percentage of the proceeds from all items sold by the hotel was donated directly to the KHCC.

“The Ritz-Carlton, Amman remains committed to spreading awareness, and raising funds throughout October, as part of its steadfast support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” the statement concluded.
