The number of registered companies increased by 13% during the first quarter of the current year compared to the same period in 2024. A total of 2,372 new companies were registered, compared to 2,091 companies during the first four months of last year.

According to data from the Companies Control Department, the total registered capital during the same period exceeded 66 million dinars. Limited liability companies had the highest registration rate, with 1,723 companies, accounting for 72.6% of the total registered companies, and with capital exceeding 36 million dinars.
The data also showed a 49% decrease in the number of companies that were deleted or had their registration canceled during the first quarter of the year compared to 2024. A total of 376 companies were deleted or had their registration canceled, compared to 741 companies during the same period last year.
The total increase in registered capital rose by 518% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching about 590 million dinars, compared to around 145 million dinars in the first quarter of last year.
A total of 624 companies raised their capital by approximately 617 million dinars, while 97 companies reduced their capital by about 79 million dinars.
