Shipping union, customs discuss study on freight prices

AMMAN — The Jordan Shipping Association and Jordan Customs on Sunday discussed a comprehensive study on the rising price of shipping containers coming from Asia, Europe, and America. اضافة اعلان

According to a statement from the union, the association discussed the study with the Customs Department and proposed setting a price cap for freight charges when factoring them into customs, especially in light of a spike in shipping prices.

However, the Cabinet must still review the study and make a just decision on the matter.
