Saudi Arabia, in a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), welcomed the recognition, stressing that it reflects the genuine commitment of friendly countries to support the peace process and push toward a two-state solution based on relevant international legitimacy resolutions. The Kingdom also expressed hope that more countries will recognize the State of Palestine and take further positive steps.

Kuwait praised the move, noting that it would contribute to enhancing the chances of peace in the region and support international efforts aimed at a two-state solution. It reaffirmed the importance of enabling the Palestinian people to establish their independent state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Qatar described the recognition as a victory for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, fully consistent with international legitimacy, relevant UN Security Council resolutions, and the “New York Declaration” on implementing the two-state solution. It added that the move would also enhance opportunities for achieving a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace in the region.

Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President, stated on X that the recognition strengthens the two-state solution by legitimizing Palestinian national rights and reviving negotiations on them. He stressed that it counters attempts to entrench occupation or a one-state reality, reiterating that the two-state vision remains the best option for a just peace, away from cycles of violence, wars, and fragmentation projects.

Oman also welcomed the new recognitions, considering them a highly significant development in the context of international efforts to achieve the two-state solution and reinforce security and peace in the region.

Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, hailed the decision, describing it as historic and fully aligned with the principles of international law and relevant UN resolutions. He said it represents strong support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
