Trump: I Believe We Will Reach an Agreement on Gaza Very Soon

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that he believes an agreement on the Gaza Strip could be reached soon.

Hamas, meanwhile, confirmed on Sunday evening that it is ready to sit at the negotiating table to discuss the release of all prisoners in exchange for a clear declaration ending the war and a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.

Hamas added in a statement: “Through mediators, we have received some ideas from the U.S. side to reach a ceasefire agreement.”
