In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump noted that the United States and Iran have engaged in "good and productive" talks over the past two days regarding a full and comprehensive solution.

Trump continued: "I am pleased to inform the public that the United States and Iran have held 'very good and productive' talks over the last two days aimed at reaching a comprehensive solution to the hostilities in the Middle East."

He further described the discussions as "in-depth, detailed, and constructive," noting that they will continue throughout the current week. Trump clarified that the directive to postpone strikes on Iranian energy facilities and infrastructure for five days is contingent upon the outcomes of the ongoing meetings and discussions.
