The official IRNA news agency, quoting diplomatic sources in Islamabad, reported that "Mohsin Naqvi traveled to Tehran to meet with Iranian officials."

Early Wednesday morning, US President Donald Trump told lawmakers at the White House that the United States "will end the war very quickly" with Iran.
"The Iranians are tired of the conflict, and we hope to reach a swift settlement to the war and end it in a nice way," Trump added.
Trump emphasized that the United States "will never allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon," noting that "nuclear weapons dominate the thinking of the Iranians."
He further stated that Washington "has done an amazing job in Iran," adding that US forces "have destroyed Iran's navy, air force, and defenses."
Trump also anticipated a drop in oil prices, coinciding with the continuation of operations and developments related to the war with Iran.
