Water minister stresses importance of winter readiness

AMMAN — Minister of Water and Irrigation Mohammad Al-Najjar stressed on Sunday the importance of preparing and taking all the necessary measures, in coordination with various other parties, and of activating crisis management plans to deal with any possible emergency during winter, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.اضافة اعلان

Najjar called for speeding up maintenance work for all water and sanitation infrastructure, and for having the necessary mechanisms and equipment ready, reviewing and ensuring the effectiveness of the water distribution program, and providing field workers with all the supplies they need for their work.

He asked that all dam maintenance operations be completed by the concerned specialist, and for judiciously using dam water to deal with challenges professionally and effectively.
