Water bills to be issued monthly as of next year

AMMAN — Ministry of Water and Irrigation spokesperson Omar Salameh said that starting with 2023, the ministry will issue water bills on monthly basis, instead of every three months, which is the case now, according to Jo24. اضافة اعلان

Salameh said that the ministry will give a short grace period for people to pay their dues, as is currently the case, and called on citizens to settle their dues so that bills do not accumulate.

He stressed that the current water tariff will not change, and that the government will not cut the water supply for citizens who do not pay their bills within three months.
