Water Ministry: Annual Rainfall Rate Rises to 5.6%

The Ministry of Water and Irrigation – Jordan Valley Authority stated that the long-term annual rainfall rate has increased to 5.6% of the long-term average, which totals about 8.1 billion cubic meters per year, as of Wednesday morning.اضافة اعلان

The ministry explained that rainfall collected in dams during the recent unstable weather system reached 1.6 million cubic meters, the majority of which was recorded at King Talal Dam with 841,000 cubic meters. This raised the total storage in dams to 45.5 million cubic meters, representing a storage percentage of 15.7%.
