Water Ministry: Anti-Violation Campaign Saves 31.5 Million Cubic Meters in 2025
The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority announced that its campaigns to curb water violations from the beginning of 2025 until early November have saved 31.5 million cubic meters of water.اضافة اعلان

In a statement on Thursday, the ministry reported that during these campaigns, authorities:

Seized 68 illegal wells

Recovered 11,519 main water pipelines

Confiscated 22 unauthorized excavators

Removed 2,653 violations along the King Abdullah Canal

Addressed 79 violations on Treasury lands

Addressed 119 violations on Khirbet Al-Samra lands

Confiscated 182 unauthorized water tankers

The ministry highlighted that these actions resulted in water savings of:

7.2 million cubic meters in the King Abdullah Canal

23.4 million cubic meters in Miyahuna

600,000 cubic meters in Yarmouk Water Company

200,000 cubic meters in Aqaba Water Company

These measures have significantly contributed to improving water supply across various regions of the Kingdom.
