AMMAN — Temperatures on Monday are expected to rise few
degrees, bringing about relatively hot to hot weather in most parts of the
Kingdom, except in the highlands and the plains where conditions are forecast
to be fair, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), the next two days are
forecast to see similar weather, with northwesterly moderate to active winds.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Monday will range
between 26°C and 31°C degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 17°C or even 12°C in the southern highlands.
In Aqaba, conditions will be hotter with mercury reaching a high of 37°C a low of 23°C.
