Suggestions on media and communications draft policy to be released by Oct

AMMAN — Musa Shteiwi, the president of the economic and social council, said that the council will present its recommendations regarding the draft of the government's public policy for media and communication by the end of this month at the latest. He mentioned that the council concluded the dialogue sessions on the draft, which lasted for two months; during which the topics of public engagement, media outlets, media legislation, social media, political reform, economic and administrative reform, concerns over media freedoms, and developmental media were discussed, Hala News reported. He confirmed that the dialogue sessions on the draft were attended by all government and private media entities, in addition to representatives from ministries, official departments, and relevant authorities.
