The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed on Thursday its condemnation, in the strongest terms, of the continued brutal Iranian aggression against the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's full solidarity with Jordan and its brotherly people in all the measures it takes to address Iranian attacks, which violate international law and the principles of good-neighborliness.
This statement follows a announcement by the official spokesperson for the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, who stated that air defense systems intercepted five Iranian missiles targeting the Kingdom's territory early Thursday morning. The incoming missiles were detected, intercepted, and brought down in accordance with pre-established defense plans.
The spokesperson confirmed that the interception procedures were executed with high efficiency and professionalism, successfully thwarting the attempt to target the Kingdom's territory without recording any casualties.
