SSC amends minimum pension to JD200

AMMAN — Director-General of the Social Security Corporation (SSC) Hazem Al-Rahahleh said on Sunday that an amendment to the Social Security Law stipulates a minimum pension of JD200, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

Rahahleh said that this amendment to the Social Security Law will cancel a previous provision that enabled the SSC to adjust the minimum pension every five years.

He said if the average wage of social security subscribers increases to become JD600, the corporation adjusts the minimum pension. On a JD600 monthly salary, for example, the pension would amount to JD210.
