The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced that specialized Civil Defense and police teams in Madaba Governorate have recovered the body of one of the two girls swept away by flash floods during the recent spell of unstable weather conditions across Jordan.

The spokesperson confirmed that specialized teams are continuing search operations to locate the second girl, as well as another person reported missing in Balqa Governorate.
He added that search and rescue operations will continue around the clock, with the participation of various specialized teams and equipment, until all missing persons are found.
