The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the Director of Public Security has instructed the Director of the Police Judiciary to investigate the death of a detainee who was taken to the hospital multiple times after being held at the Ramtha Police Directorate in connection with an investigative case.

The spokesperson added that the individual had been taken to the hospital after his arrest yesterday, where he was examined and discharged with a medical report indicating he was in good condition. He was then returned to the police directorate. Later, after complaining of abdominal pain, he was transferred to the hospital again, underwent medical tests, and was discharged and returned to the police station. However, his condition deteriorated, and he was taken to the hospital once more, where he passed away shortly after arrival. The body has been referred to forensic medicine to determine the cause of death.
