Temperatures will drop slightly on Tuesday, bringing pleasant weather to most parts of the Kingdom and moderate conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes, while winds will be moderate southwesterly, occasionally picking up.
The Jordan Meteorological Department warned that horizontal visibility could be reduced late at night due to fog over high mountainous areas and parts of the plains.
According to the forecast, pleasant weather will continue across most areas on Wednesday and Thursday, with moderate conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Some high clouds are expected, while northwesterly winds will be moderate, occasionally becoming active.
On Friday, the Kingdom will be affected by a relatively cold and humid air mass moving from the eastern Mediterranean. Temperatures will fall slightly, with partly cloudy to cloudy conditions at times. Rain showers are expected in northern Jordan and limited areas of the central regions, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms.
There is also a low chance of light rain showers during the evening in eastern and southeastern parts of the Kingdom, which could also be accompanied by occasional thunder. Winds will be moderate southwesterly to westerly, becoming active at intervals and raising dust in the Badia areas.
Today, maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman are expected to range between 26°C and 14°C, compared with 24°C and 12°C in western Amman, 22°C and 11°C in the northern highlands, 23°C and 10°C in the Sharah Mountains, 26°C and 13°C in the Badia, and 26°C and 14°C in the plains.
Temperatures will range between 30°C and 19°C in the northern Jordan Valley, 32°C and 21°C in the southern Jordan Valley, 31°C and 20°C at the Dead Sea, and 32°C and 21°C in Aqaba.
