Petra Authority floats tenders to improve infrastructure

AMMAN — Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority has awarded tenders to upgrade and infrastructure in the city and improve the quality of services in the area for locals and visitors, according to Khaberni News.اضافة اعلان

Authority Chairman Suleiman Al-Farajat said that JD2 million had been earmarked to pave streets and improve sewage and water drainage systems. The projects cover all communities in the district, particularly those that are witnessing an expansion in housing construction.

Farajat said that the authority will present additional bids in the future to serve other areas, noting that specifications stipulate accuracy and speed of execution, as well as safety of people and property.
