The House of Representatives will discuss a number of issues and draft laws during its 23rd session on Monday, as part of its scheduled agenda.
The agenda includes the Legal Committee’s decision regarding the amended Civil Status Law for 2026.
Parliament will also review a letter from the Senate President (No. 444), which includes the amended Insurance Contracts Law for 2025, returned from the Senate.
Meanwhile, the Education Committee will examine the Ministry’s readiness for the General Secondary Education Exam (Tawjihi), including discussions on the possibility of reducing certain subjects, as well as reviewing the impact of pass/fail policies on medical graduates during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the session, the joint committee (Legal, Public Services, and Transport) will meet to discuss the amended Traffic Law for 2026.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Committee will also review a draft law approving an agreement related to the evaluation, development, and exploitation of copper and associated minerals in the Abu Khusheiba area.
