The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship announced on Wednesday the addition of a range of new services and improvements to the Sanad App, aimed at making daily use faster and easier for citizens.
The ministry stated that the new updates include the ability to access documents even without an internet connection using biometric authentication, in addition to a service for checking and paying municipal dues related to the Greater Amman Municipality.
It added that the app now provides a comprehensive package for vehicle license renewal, covering registration procedures, payment of fines, and insurance within a single service, helping simplify processes and reduce time and effort.
The ministry also explained that the update includes improvements to passport services by clarifying required documents, as well as enhancements to the display of cancer insurance documentation.
Among the improvements is also an updated display of social security data on the main screen, making it easier for users to access their information.
The ministry confirmed that the new update will be mandatory to ensure optimal app performance and to deliver the latest services to users.
