The convoy consists of 50 trucks carrying essential food supplies, flour, and infant formula. It is part of ongoing relief efforts to meet urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza amid the severe deterioration of living conditions and a critical shortage of food and basic necessities.

The shipment includes a variety of ingredients used to prepare hot meals that are distributed inside Gaza by World Central Kitchen teams, in addition to quantities of flour, grains, and cooking oils that will help meet the needs of thousands of families.

This convoy is part of a broader series of joint efforts between Jordan and international humanitarian organizations, reaffirming Jordan’s enduring humanitarian role in supporting the Palestinian people, particularly during times of crisis.

It is the fifth convoy sent in coordination with international organizations within the past 10 days. The previous four convoys included 147 trucks. On Wednesday, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization succeeded in delivering one aid convoy into Gaza through the Zikim border crossing, which included 36 trucks, after WCK confirmed its readiness to facilitate entry and distribution of aid to residents in the Strip.
