On Tuesday, an officer from the Central Traffic Management Operations Room at the General Security Directorate provided insight into the incidents. A collision occurred between two vehicles along the 60th Street in Irbid Governorate, on route to the Jordan Valley, Amman Net reported. A man in his forties lost his life in the accident, and five other individuals sustained injuries. Swift response teams were deployed, evacuating the deceased and transporting the injured to medical facilities for immediate attention. The accident's root cause was identified as an abrupt lane change executed by one of the drivers.

On early Tuesday morning, the operations room received a report of a pedestrian being struck outside a complex adjacent to the station, near the Raghadan Tourist Complex in Amman. The pedestrian was promptly provided with medical aid, and the ensuing traffic disruption was effectively managed. Additionally, a 13-year-old boy suffered grave injuries after being hit by a vehicle at a traffic signal in Irbid Governorate.

The officer highlighted yet another pedestrian accident that transpired the previous day. At the entrance of the Al-Waha Roundabout tunnel, while heading towards University Street, an individual was struck, resulting in severe injuries. Similar to previous incidents, negligence in adhering to necessary traffic precautions by drivers was identified as the underlying cause.
