AMMAN — Greater Amman Municipality stated that Jordan is witnessing a death every 16 hours due to traffic accidents. The Municipality commented: "It's time to protect our community and safeguard our lives," on a post it shared from the Ministry of Government Communication regarding the new traffic law, in which the ministry indicated that the fine for mobile phone usage while driving has now become JD50.
