The Director of Field Medicine at the Royal Medical Services, Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Subaihat, announced that trucks loaded with prosthetic limbs, medications, food supplies, and medical equipment will arrive on Wednesday at the Jordanian field hospital in southern Gaza, coming from Jordan.

Speaking to Al-Mamlaka TV on Tuesday, Al-Subaihat noted that the Royal Medical Services operates five military hospitals in the West Bank and Gaza, including one in Tel al-Hawa, Gaza, which was established in 2009 and has since received over 3.5 million patients and conducted more than 1,046 surgeries over 21 months.
He added that the Khan Younis hospital, established in November 2023, has so far received 291,000 patients and conducted over 23,000 surgeries, most of which were major operations. The facility includes three operating rooms.
He also mentioned that the Nablus field hospital treated 182,000 patients and conducted 2,200 surgeries within the past 21 months. In addition, the Ramallah and Jenin hospitals offer multiple specialties, including neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology.
Al-Subaihat confirmed that medical teams have fitted 557 prosthetic limbs over the past 10 months, while the total number of patients across all hospitals since October 7 has reached 658,151, during which 26,468 surgical procedures were performed.
He also pointed out that 398 airdrop operations of aid have been carried out—129 by the Royal Jordanian Air Force, and the rest in coordination with other countries.
