Last week, the Knights of Change Association for Political and Civil Society Development launched its annual initiative, the “Entrepreneurial Activists of Leadership Jobs Award for 2026”, in conjunction with celebrations marking King Abdullah II’s 64th birthday and the Anniversary of Allegiance and Loyalty.
The awards aim to recognize three outstanding Jordanian entrepreneurs in leadership positions each year:
• First Prize: Best Female Entrepreneur of 2025
• Second Prize: Best Entrepreneur in the Field of Distinguished Companies of 2025
• Third Prize: Best Entrepreneur in a Selected Field (which changes annually), with this year’s focus on education
According to Engineer Mohannad Abbas Haddadin, President of the association, the awards reflect His Majesty King Abdullah II’s emphasis on honoring distinguished leaders to foster a culture of achievement. Haddadin highlighted the awards’ role in motivating Jordanian leaders to pursue excellence and deliver high-quality services and products that strengthen the competitiveness of local institutions and companies, thereby supporting the national economy.
A specialized committee has been formed within the association to manage standards, evaluation, and the awarding process. The committee, composed of experienced professionals, will secretly nominate ten leading figures for each award based on their 2025 performance and institutional achievements. The three winners will be announced at an official ceremony, to be scheduled at a later date.
