Jordanian professionals call on gov’t to expel Israeli envoy

AMMAN — Jordan’s professional associations called on the government to take serious and immediate actions in response to last Friday’s Israeli storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its attacks against the worshippers, according to Ammon News. اضافة اعلان

Head of the Jordanian Bar Association Mazen Irsheidat in a statement called for expelling the Israeli ambassador to Jordan, recalling the Jordanian ambassador to Israel, and halting all forms of cooperation and normalization with Israel.

The statement also called on the Arab League to take a speedy action and adopt bold decisions to condemn the Israeli practices and measures.

It also called on the Arab professional associations to press their governments to take action, especially those that have normalized ties with Israel.

The statement also denounced Arab and international silence in light of what is happening to the Palestinian people, adding that these crimes are in violation of international laws and conventions.

It also hailed the heroic steadfastness of the Palestinian people in resisting Israel aggression in all forms, especially at Al-Aqsa Mosque and in Jerusalem.
