Jordan's hotel occupancy rates at 61-86% - JHA

AMMAN — Over the weekend, hotel occupancy rates in various regions of the Kingdom ranged from 61 percent to 86 percent. اضافة اعلان

The Dead Sea region saw the highest occupancy at 86 percent, followed by Aqaba at 80 percent, Amman at 71 percent, and Petra at 61 percent, Jordan News Agency reported.

Five-star vs four-star hotels
In five-star hotels, occupancy rates were 82 percent in the Dead Sea, 74 percent in Aqaba, 70 percent in Amman, and 67 percent in Petra, according to Hussein Hilalat, the vice president and spokesperson for the Jordan Hotels Association (JHA).

Additionally, four-star hotels reported occupancy rates of 89 percent in the Dead Sea, 88 percent in Aqaba, 80 percent in Amman, and 72 percent in Petra.
