Jordan records 18 deaths, 697 new cases Thursday

The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Thursday reached 18, while a total of 697 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,100 and the caseload to 775,251.اضافة اعلان



Breaking down Thursday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 343 cases, while Zarqa recorded 98 cases.

Irbid registered 65 cases, while Balqa recorded 30 cases.

Karak recorded 20 cases, Jerash recorded 23 cases, while Tafileh recorded 36.

Madaba registered 14 cases, Aqaba 12, and Ajloun 17.

Mafraq registered 17 new cases, while Maan recorded 21 cases on Thursday.

Petra recorded 1 case.

The ministry added in a statement that some 61 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 79 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,145, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.61 percent of the 19,295 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
