Jordan records 10 deaths, 1,008 new cases Thursday

AMMAN - The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Thursday reached 10, while a total of 1,008 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,010 and the caseload to 769,390.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Wednesday’s tally, the ministry stated that Amman recorded 511 cases, while Zarqa recorded 174 cases.

Irbid registered 86 cases, while Karak recorded 24 cases.

Balqa recorded 41 cases, while Aqaba recoded 21 and Mafraq recorded 18 cases.

Ajloun registered 25 cases, Tafileh 27, and Jerash 32.

Madaba registered 28 new cases, while Ramtha recorded 13 cases on Thursday.

Maan recorded 8 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 53 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 81 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 9,704, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.64 percent of the 27,681 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
