The Jordanian–Vietnamese Business Forum is scheduled to convene on Thursday as part of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s visit to Vietnam.
During talks held with President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vo Van Thuong, in Hanoi on Wednesday, His Majesty noted that the Jordanian–Vietnamese Business Forum marks a new phase of cooperation and partnership between the private sectors of both countries. The forum aims to strengthen collaboration across various fields and to connect Southeast Asia with the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

The discussions addressed prospects for expanding economic cooperation between Jordan and Vietnam in promising sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, agriculture, and halal food production.
The governments of Jordan and Vietnam also signed two memorandums of understanding (MoUs): one between the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates and the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and another between the Jordan Diplomatic Institute and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
