Jordan and Qatar have dispatched the second aircraft in their joint humanitarian air bridge to Caracas, carrying 26 tonnes of medical, relief, and food aid to support victims of the recent earthquake that struck several areas of Venezuela.
The flight follows the arrival of the first Jordanian relief aircraft in Caracas, which also delivered humanitarian supplies in cooperation with Qatar, in implementation of directives from King Abdullah II to assist those affected and help alleviate the impact of the disaster.
The latest shipment includes specialized medical supplies, emergency relief items, food assistance, and equipment to support the search and rescue team of Jordan’s Public Security Directorate, strengthening ongoing humanitarian response efforts and addressing urgent needs in the affected areas.
The joint humanitarian air bridge reflects the close coordination between Jordan and Qatar in supporting international relief operations and providing assistance to communities affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
The mission also highlights the readiness and operational capabilities of Jordanian institutions in responding rapidly to humanitarian emergencies beyond the Kingdom, reinforcing Jordan’s role as a reliable partner in international relief efforts.
The aid operation underscores Jordan’s continued humanitarian commitment, under the leadership of King Abdullah II, to supporting countries and communities affected by disasters through emergency relief and humanitarian assistance.
