Speaking during a Cabinet session on Sunday, the Prime Minister highlighted that among the key projects is the National Water Carrier project, which has reached advanced stages of financial close, with the government hoping to finalize it within the coming month. He also pointed to railway projects connecting the Port of Aqaba with Shidiya, Ma’an, and the potash facilities, noting that agreements for these projects are expected to be signed next month as well.

He added that the ongoing war underscores the importance of Arab cooperation in the fields of transport, trade, logistics, and joint industries in light of current challenges.

Hassan further stated that Jordan is positioning itself as a regional hub for supply and logistics, with ongoing discussions to build partnerships with Arab and friendly countries. The Kingdom also aims to expand opportunities for joint manufacturing with Arab partners in sectors such as agriculture, technology, port utilization, and railway connectivity.
