Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, held a phone call on Sunday with Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Emigration, Badr Abdelatty. The two ministers discussed the developments of the dangerous escalation in the region and its implications for international peace and security, as part of the ongoing coordination and consultation between the two brotherly nations.اضافة اعلان

During the call, Safadi and Abdelatty explored prospects for restoring calm through active diplomacy to ensure regional security, stability, and respect for state sovereignty and international law. They also discussed ways to activate coordination mechanisms and joint Arab action to face current challenges.

The two ministers renewed their condemnation of the unjustified Iranian attacks on Jordanian territory and other sisterly Arab countries, rejecting these assaults as an unjustified escalation and a flagrant violation of international law and state sovereignty.

Safadi emphasized that the Kingdom will take all necessary and available steps to protect its citizens, security, stability, and sovereignty. He expressed absolute solidarity with the sisterly GCC countries in all measures they take to counter Iranian aggression and protect their people and stability.

For his part, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's full solidarity with the Kingdom in confronting these attacks. The two ministers agreed to maintain continuous coordination and consultation regarding regional developments.
