The Crown Prince Foundation announced on Tuesday that the second edition of The Maker Collective will be held on October 25 at Al Hussein Cultural Center and Ras Al Ain Hangar in Amman. The event comes in line with efforts to provide opportunities that foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Jordan through the FabLab program (Masahat Al-Sinaa’), and builds on the great success of last year’s first edition, which attracted more than 5,200 visitors from across the Kingdom.

According to a statement from the Foundation, the event aims to bring together and empower the maker and innovator community, along with its supporting ecosystem—including students, researchers, hobbyists, entrepreneurs, and artists—under a national platform to exchange knowledge, build partnerships, and inspire innovation. The event also seeks to enhance economic participation in Jordan and the region through promoting digital fabrication and adopting innovative technological solutions. Entry will be free of charge for visitors of all ages, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Collective will feature a large exhibition of innovators, entrepreneurs, startups, students, and artists, with more than 100 exhibitors showcasing their projects and innovations, highlighting creative ideas in collaboration with academic institutions and specialized organizations. The exhibition aims to encourage knowledge exchange, foster partnerships, and enhance a culture of innovation.
The event will also host activities including six free, hands-on workshops specializing in digital design, digital fabrication, modern technologies, and handicrafts, in addition to engaging activities suitable for all ages such as drone flight simulation and robotics experiments.
The Foundation noted that the event will also include inspiring panel discussions with nine experts in innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship, alongside a “Mini Talks Tour” that will feature impactful short talks on technology projects and success stories. All sessions will be broadcast live through the Foundation’s social media platforms (Facebook and YouTube).
This year, the Collective will host international speaker Daniel Ingriza from In-Machines, who brings over 13 years of experience in designing and building manufacturing machines. He will share his vision on open-source machine design and construction, as well as his practical expertise in developing advanced machines that help makers and manufacturers turn ideas into tangible products.
A new initiative, the “Expert’s Corner,” will allow participants to book a 10-minute private session with one of over 16 experts in innovation and entrepreneurship to exchange knowledge and receive practical guidance.
The event will also feature the official launch of Jordan’s first fully equipped mobile digital fabrication lab, housed in a modern vehicle and equipped with the latest digital fabrication tools such as 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters. The initiative aims to enable youth across the Kingdom to access advanced technologies and foster a culture of innovation.
In addition, the “Maker Map” will be launched—an interactive online directory showcasing digital fabrication labs, workshops, suppliers, service providers, as well as available support programs and opportunities in innovation and prototyping across the Kingdom.
The Foundation invited all those interested to attend the event and participate in its various activities, noting that prior registration is required to join the hands-on workshops and the Expert’s Corner via the event’s website: https://cpf.jo/themakercollective2025/
. The Foundation also encouraged the public to follow its social media platforms for more details.
