Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Majdi Mohammad Al-Harasees, received, today, Monday, in his office at General Headquarters, Pakistan's ambassador to the Kingdom, Khurram Sarfraz Khan, where the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the two friendly countries' armed forces, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations in a manner that serves shared interests.

Major General Al-Harasees affirmed, in the presence of a number of senior Jordanian Armed Forces officers and Pakistan's defense attaché in Amman, the Jordanian Armed Forces' commitment to strengthening cooperation relations with their Pakistani counterparts.
For his part, the Pakistani ambassador expressed his appreciation for the role the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan plays under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, praising the role of the Jordanian Armed Forces in reinforcing security and stability at both the regional and international levels.
