Army Foils Three Attempts to Smuggle Large Quantities of Drugs Using Balloons

At dawn on Saturday, the Eastern Military Zone thwarted three attempts to smuggle large quantities of narcotic substances carried by balloons guided with primitive devices. The incidents occurred along its front and within its area of responsibility.اضافة اعلان

The balloons were detected in various locations by Border Guard forces, in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department. They were intercepted, brought down, and their cargo was seized inside Jordanian territory.

The confiscated materials were handed over to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal procedures.
