These projects are carried out under the campaign “For Our People in Gaza”, in response to urgent humanitarian needs amid the severe living and humanitarian conditions.

The interventions included projects in the food and shelter sectors, focusing on meeting the basic needs of the most affected groups, while ensuring the continuity of support and its direct delivery to beneficiaries.

As part of the emergency winter response, the Jordanian Campaign, in partnership with JHCO, implemented an urgent shelter intervention that included the distribution of more than 255 dome-type tents. These insulated, weather- and water-resistant tents benefited families affected by severe weather conditions, aiming to provide a minimum level of protection and safety for displaced persons.

The interventions also included the distribution of winter clothing and blankets to 3,000 beneficiaries, as part of efforts to mitigate the impact of extreme cold and improve the living conditions of affected families.

In the field of food security, a project to distribute ready-to-eat meals was implemented in cooperation between JHCO, the Jordanian Campaign, and the Qatar Red Crescent, benefiting 50,000 people across various areas of the Gaza Strip. This came as part of coordinated humanitarian efforts to ensure the delivery of urgent food assistance to families in need.

JHCO and the Jordanian Campaign emphasized that these interventions are part of a sustained humanitarian approach based on measurable assistance with direct impact, contributing to strengthening the resilience of the population by providing shelter, ensuring sustained food support, and responding effectively to the most urgent needs.
