AMMAN — As the first day of the new academic year kicks off, the Ministry of Education directed all education principals to introduce evening periods in
schools to accommodate the 18,000 students on its waiting list, according to
the Director of the Department of Educational Planning and Research Yousef Abu
Shaar, Al-Ghad News reported.
He said the ministry
continues to accept all students and will find solutions to accommodate them
within two days, maximum. He said more than 15,000 students moved from private
to government schools.
