AMMAN — FIBA has announced the 6 qualifying match dates for the World Cup finals, which will be hosted in three cities: Manila, Okinawa, and Jakarta between August 25 and September 10, 2023.اضافة اعلان

Eighty teams from Asia, Africa, North and South America, and Europe will be taking part. The qualifiers will kick off in February 2021, with 32 mundial cards between February 2021 and February 2023.

The first qualifier matches will be held between November 22 and 30 of this year, while the second qualifier will take place between February 21 and March 1, 2022, while the third qualifier is slated for between June 27 and July 5 next year.

The fourth qualifier will launch in August 22 until August 30 next year, the fifth qualifier will take place between November 7 and 15 during the same year, while the sixth qualifier is slated for between February 20 and 28 of 2023, marking the end of the finals.

Asian teams will be vying for 6 qualifying cards, after direct cards were given to Philippines and Japan — the hosting counties — and a remaining card will be given to Indonesia if it finishes in one of the eight ranks in the 2021 Asia Cup Championship.

Thirty-two teams from the European continent will be vying for 12 seats at the mundial, while 19 teams from the African Continent will compete on 5 mundial cards, and 16 teams from the American continents will be competing for 7 seats, making up a total of 32 qualifiers.
