According to Spanish radio station Cadena COPE, the new regulations include the following changes:

VAR will be allowed to intervene in cases involving a second yellow card or when the wrong player is identified for a red card.

VAR will also be able to overturn an incorrectly awarded corner kick.

A substituted player must leave the field within 10 seconds. If not, the replacement player will have to wait one minute before entering the pitch.

Players receiving on-field medical treatment must remain off the field for one minute before returning to play.

If a goalkeeper stops play for treatment without having been injured by a foul, one of his teammates will be required to leave the field for one minute.

Referees will strictly enforce throw-in time limits using a five-second countdown.

An unintentional double touch during a penalty kick will result in the penalty being considered missed or saved if the ball is not successfully scored.

After a VAR review, referees will be able to announce and explain their final decisions to spectators inside the stadium.
