Additionally, 15 cooperation agreements were signed between the Energy Fund and civil society organizations to process citizens’ requests for solar heater installations. Energy audits were conducted in 13 factories under the program, and 30 factory subscription requests were received, evaluated, and studied ahead of issuing approval letters.

The report also noted the approval of a package of government incentives and exemptions to support green hydrogen projects outside the Aqaba Special Economic Zone. In the oil, gas, and exploration sector, the first well in the Sarhan development area (Umm Lahm) was tested, and 63% of 3D seismic surveys in the Jafr region were completed to advance development works.

Thirteen wells have been drilled in the Risha gas field by the third quarter of 2025, with ongoing seismic survey interpretation linked to the field’s geological model to support continuous development. The National Petroleum Company has issued a tender for drilling 80 additional wells. Mechanical works for a 40 km natural gas pipeline in Al-Quweira Industrial City have also been completed to extend gas distribution.
