The Times: UK to Recognize Palestinian State After Trump’s Official Visit

According to the newspaper, Starmer postponed the announcement until after Trump’s departure to avoid overshadowing the joint press conference scheduled with the U.S. President on Thursday.

The report added that this step is expected to precede the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York next week, with other countries such as France, Canada, and Australia reportedly preparing to take similar positions in recognizing the Palestinian state.
