The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Sunday that two ships were involved in an incident in the Strait of Hormuz, while two others turned back from crossing after warnings were issued to them. The IRGC asserted that not a single drop of oil, gas, or chemical fertilizer will pass through the Strait of Hormuz without permittance.

The Revolutionary Guard stated in a report that "two ships encountered an incident in the Strait of Hormuz, and two others retreated from crossing after we issued warnings to them," adding that "the four vessels disabled their navigation systems and attempted to exit the strait through an unsafe route with US support."
It further stated that "our forces fully control the Strait of Hormuz, and the only safe passage is the one designated and announced by us," emphasizing that "not a single drop of oil, gas, or chemical fertilizer will pass through the Strait of Hormuz without our permittance."
The United States has recently launched several rounds of strikes against Iran, while Tehran responded with attacks targeting US bases and facilities in a number of Gulf states, despite a ceasefire in place between them since April and the signing of a memorandum of understanding last June aimed at reaching a final agreement.
