Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Friday evening offered his condolences to the families of the martyrs who lost their lives in the “heinous and cowardly” terrorist attack targeting the Greek Orthodox Church in Hamoud, Karak Governorate.
Hassan visited the site of the condolence gathering at the Hamoud Charitable Society, where he expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs and to all Jordanians.
He prayed that the martyrs would be granted God’s mercy and forgiveness, and that their families would be given patience and strength. He also wished those injured a speedy recovery.
The Prime Minister stressed that the criminal perpetrators responsible for the deaths of innocent Jordanians would not escape punishment.
He said the directives of King Abdullah II were clear in mobilizing all available resources to pursue those responsible for the crime and bring them to justice so they receive the punishment they deserve.
Hassan was accompanied during the condolence visit by Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya, Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Affairs Abdul Latif Al-Najdawi, General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni, and Public Security Directorate Director Maj. Gen. Dr. Obeidallah Al-Maaytah.
