The authority explained that Kuwaiti airspace had been temporarily closed as a precautionary measure following attacks targeting the country. It noted that during the closure period, 11 flights operated by Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways were diverted to neighboring airports to ensure the safety of passengers and aircrews.

The authority confirmed that flight operations have returned to normal, adding that it continues to monitor developments in close coordination with the relevant entities.

Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced on Saturday that Kuwaiti air defenses intercepted hostile missile and drone attacks, successfully neutralizing them via air defense systems.
