Jordan is at risk, susceptible to threats - former Iraqi Foreign Minister

BAGHDAD – On Wednesday, Hoshyar Zebari, the former Iraqi Foreign Minister, stated that Jordan is at risk and susceptible to threats, Khaberni reported.اضافة اعلان

“Jordan is very, very exposed,” Zebari stated in an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat. 

Zebari further explained that Jordan’s security is under threat, as is the security of the Gulf region. Currently, Jordan is grappling with drug-related challenges and hostile forces targeting its territory. 

Notably, Iraqi protests close to the US base known as Tower 22 on Jordanian soil have impacted the Kingdom for the first time.
